GAYLA LEVINE, DDS
Dr. Levine has been delivering the highest quality dental care to her patients for the last 17 years. Originally from Ogdensburg, NY, Dr. Levine earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Boston College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed advanced training through a general practice residency at Tufts University and New England Medical Center. Dr. Levine’s interest in dentistry began when she interned for her childhood dentist. Dentistry is a family pursuit and both Dr. Levine’s sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Shannon Cole and Dr. Joseph Ahlo are also dentists.
After completing her residency, Dr. Levine entered private practice in Townsend, MA working alongside Dr. Michael John-- a longtime dentist and former instructor in the Tufts University General Practice Residency Program. She eventually followed him to Tewskbury Hospital in Massachusetts where she enjoyed treating patients with special needs. She opened Village Green Family Dentistry in Windham in 2011. In addition to being licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, she is professionally affiliated with the American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, New Hampshire Dental Society and Massachusetts Dental Society.
As a Windham resident, Dr. Levine is active in the community. She devotes her time to visiting local classrooms to speak with children about their oral health. She has also participated in dental screenings for the Special Olympics. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their three children, Luke, Caitlin, and Claire. She can often be seen running along the Windham Rail Trail. As the former president of the Colonial Figure Skating Club, she is often seen cheering for her children at area arenas.
Dr. Eugene S. Hulshult, Jr.
Dr. Hulshult was born, raised, and educated in Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he not only received his Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, but also was a scholarship athlete who played offensive guard for the Buckeye football team. He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University, graduating at the top of his 1991 dental class. He was awarded the Callahan Memorial Award for this achievement. He spent several months receiving post-graduate experience as a resident with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston before making New Hampshire his home.
After practicing as an associate dentist in Keene, NH, Dr. Hulshult established his private practice in Concord, NH, serving that community for 30 years before joining Village Green Family Dentistry
When he is not caring for his patients, he enjoys outdoor pursuits including hiking and backpacking with his wife or visiting his children in Richmond or Charleston.
Dr. Mariana Braga
With a passion and determination to help others, Dr. Mariana Braga is known to be gentle and a comfort to people. She enjoys getting to know patients, and is able to communicate in Portuguese, Spanish, and French to help eliminate language barriers. Her friendliness, experience, and great eye for detail make her an excellent asset to our clinic!
Along with high standard dental care, Dr. Braga is also certified in facial injectables, performing Botox and Dermal Fillers. Her knowledge of head and neck anatomy, injecting, and anesthesia make her "a go-to" for both rejuvenation and dental issues such as clenching and gummy smile.
Dr. Mariana Braga earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree and Master’s degree in Oral Health Science at Boston University. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Florida at a young age, received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Miami, and made her way north!
In love with New Hampshire, Dr. Braga settled in Hooksett with her husband Nick and husky dog, Balto. She enjoys playing soccer, sculpting/building things, and continuing education in her spare time. Dr. Braga is thrilled to be a part of the Village Green Family Dentistry!
A LASER FOCUS ON PROVIDING THE BEST CARE
Dr. Levine uses the latest in laser technology for select procedures. She is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, which requires specific courses and standardization tests to become a member. The Academy makes the distinction that as a member, Dr. Levine has qualified herself to be a Laser Dentist, and not just a dentist who uses a laser.
